Ingredients
- Fresh Roma tomatoes, halved
- Olive oil
- Garlic cloves
- 1 drop basil essential oil (CPTG grade)
- 1 drop oregano essential oil (CPTG grade)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Halve tomatoes and place cut-side up on a baking sheet. Add whole garlic cloves.
- Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 35-40 minutes until tomatoes are soft and slightly charred.
- Transfer to a blender or food processor. Blend to desired consistency.
- Add one drop each of basil and oregano essential oil. Stir well.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
Note: Only use CPTG (Certified Pure Tested Grade) essential oils for cooking. A little goes a long way — start with a toothpick dip if you prefer milder flavor.
