Hi and welcome! Thanks for popping in!
My passion is to enjoy a natural, wholesome and beautiful life for myself and my family, and to share that with anyone who is interested!
I have done this on many levels over the years, having spent much of my time overseas in missions-related work — including several meaningful years in South Africa, where I first discovered practices like Ho’oponopono that changed the way I think about healing and peace.
Now happily back in North America and settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I’m closer to family and reconnected with the people and places I love most. My husband Jim and I have built a home full of good food, essential oils, garden dirt, and the occasional experiment gone wonderfully right.
I discovered essential oils several years ago and fell in love with the magic they bring — the emotional balance, the wellness support, the delight to the senses. I love the feeling of taking back my power and having access to natural solutions for myself and my family. I cleared all the toxic products out of our home and started creating simple, natural alternatives for everything — cleaning, gardening, cooking, and wellness.
This site is a place to share all of that. Recipes from my kitchen. Wisdom from the garden. Natural healing practices I’ve learned along the way. Artwork, photography, and the stories that connect it all. Some of it is open to everyone. Some of it is just for the people closest to me.
Whether you’re here for a recipe, a garden tip, or just to say hello — I’m glad you’re here.
